you are probaly looking at a list of symptoms I take it? And one listed is weight loss? If you are looking at a list of symptoms and others apply but just not this one I'd still see a dr.

YES! Weight loss is only one of the symptoms and not everyone has this symptom. A person can have diabetes without even knowing it, and many do, If you have any reason to think you might be get yourself checked by the doctor, untreated diabetes causes ireversible damage to your heart and kidneys.

Once you have diabetes, you always have it.
You may get to a point where you don't need medication and can control with diet and exercises but you still have it.

You are actually more likely to be overweight and have diabetes, especially if you have type 2..Weight loss is not a symptom at all as far as i am aware...symptoms are increased thirst, needing to pee alot..shakiness...dizziness and fatigue.
