How long would it take me to gain about 20+ pounds without getting my self sick from eating to much? I'm really skinny and i'm about 5"9.

Yes I'm a vegetarian, and I could eat! But I never really gain weight
I can eat a 12 inch (vegetable) sandwhich with chips for a week and not gain a pound.


For the past two weeks or so i've been eating pretty good and having smoothies daily. But I haven't gained any weight. So does anyone have any tips to help me gain weight quicker?

I don't eat much sweets/candies much, since it's bad for you. And working out would be pointless for me, now. Unless I eat twice as much as I do now, and gaining muscle takes more time then gaining some fat.

More Protein. Beans, nuts, lentils,
a soy latte every now and then.
Whole grains- millet, quinoa,
spelt, steel cut oats, aramanth.
whole grain pastas. Peanut butter.

You need to get more quality calories,
carbs and do some weight training
in order to gain some muscle weight.
Also, Naturade and NutriBiotic make

Lifting weights is a good idea because that will help you put on muscle and not fat. Eat more beans, fatty vegetables, like avacado & olive (don't know if that's actually a vegetable), and good carbs (whole grain pasta and bread). If you load up on junk food like chips and ding-dongs and loaf around you'll gain weight but it will be fat and you'll feel awful.

Fast food will put on the weight, but you limited as a vegitarian. You want the right combination of carbohydrates, starch and fat. Try eating as many potato chips or french fries as you can stomach.

I know that for my husband, the only way he can gain weight is to go to the gym..... Not aerobic exercise, just weights. He has in the past used protein shakes and that worked better, but he just loses weight when he can't go to the gym.

Start drinking protein/weight gain drinks several times daily, and do a lot of weight training.

eat alot of junk food..lol...chips, cookies, pie, candy, french fies,...theres also vegan burgers their are good too.
