I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about four years ago, when I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I know loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/a1lYx everything changed.

Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

It could take days, weeks, months or years. Herpes is an interesting STD. Sometimes it won't even show up in an STD test. I had a scare about 6 months ago (a girl I slept with got it) and I didn't use protection with her.

The best thing to do is to go STRAIGHT to the doctor during your outbreak. After the outbreak it can be difficult to detect it.

Don't worry about it either way. 1 in 4 adults have it and it's nothing to be ashamed of. With proper treatment you'll have outbreaks very rarely if at all.

To broaden Proud Believers outline - You can also get HSV-1 genitally and HSV-2 orally. Or you can get HSV-2 genitally and HSV-1 orally. Neither one only affects one nerve ganglia cluster - The virus does not know nor care which nerve ganglia cluster it's infecting. This is why we've seen over the past decade a startling trend of teenagers and young adults infected with HSV-1 genitally - It was traditionally believed to only cause cold sores/fever blisters but has since been proven that either one can infect either ganglia cluster.

Go to the doctor. If you have either virus and are having symptoms of genital herpes, you probably have a genital herpes infection.

It can take a few years to show up. Best solution. Abstinence before marriage!
