You will get protein from the beans, nuts, vegetables, soy foods you eat. There are all kinds of Veggie foods. The best place to look is in the produce section. if your looking for analog products almost every supermarket carries them. Many are frozen, but some such as lightlife products (which I recommend 100%) are normally near the tofu.

I am also a vegetarian and going on two years. The protein thing has been difficult but you just have to read the labels!
My favorite vegetarian quick & easy meal to eat are Lean Cuisines. The Three Bean Chili and the Sante Fe Style Rice & Beans are REALLY good, packed with protein and are relatively inexpensive. (WalMart is the cheapest I've seen them at) You can try the Amy's or Linda McCartney's frozen meals but they're more expensive and some of them I just don't like.
For snacks you can also try the South Beach Diet bars. Honestly, all the Diet stuff has a lot of protein.
If you're looking for recipes try AllRecipes.com, they have a lot of good stuff and many people list the nutrition information.

Basically, one cannot avoid protein unless one stops eating. There's a big protein myth out there, that one needs protein and must go out of their way to find it. Not true. Our body makes protein from amino acids. Amino acids are found all over the place. Again, one cannot avoid amino acids without really trying very hard. Just look at the common potato, it's full of amino acids -- perfect food for bodybuilding if you ask me as potatoes have all of the essential amino acids, that is, the ones which the body cannot synthesize. Remember, every living thing is made form proteins; proteins are the building blocks of life. One only needs, what 4-8% protein in their diet, very small, and anything more will just be excess and expelled from the body as waste anyway. Some places in the world, such as some areas in China, people live on 2% protein in their diet yet they are very strong and work the farms etc. I think they can live on a very low protein diet because their body is used to this type of diet from birth and likely for generations, so they are more efficient in obtaining their protein, thus less of what they eat goes down the toilet.

They can be purchased in any grocery store. Google to vegetarian food pyramid and go from there. There are tons of foods you probably already eat that are vegetarian friendly. Protein is in everything (even Frito's!). Great sources include all sorts of beans, legumes (peanuts, lentils), whole grains etc. There are also tons of faux meats available like Quorn, Morning star farms, Boca etc. You just have to find which one you like.
