Italy and Thailand
If I HAD to pick...I couldn't live without my garlic and olive oils with pasta...yummmm

INDIA! and I am not from India, but definitely my fave food. I love the tandoori menu, I love lamb dishes, and my fave food in the whole world (besides buffalo wings) are lamb samosas. YUMMMMM! I live in Norman, Oklahoma and we have a Bistro here called Misal that serves the best authentic Indian food I have tasted anywhere, (and I am very well traveled) not an endorsement just raving.

I think that all Medinerranean countries have excellent cuisine with a large variety of foods which is recognized by doctors all over the world as the healthiest one.

Stangely enough I would say Great Britain.
The only reason I saw this is that even though British food gets a bad reputation where else in the world can you find so much variety in restaurants.
In my small town i can eat; thai, indian, turkish, italian, american, chinese, japanese, asian fusion, greek, mexican, french, spanish, portugese and really beautiful simple British food.
Try finding a good curry in most US towns (I have travelled through 28 states so know exactly what food you can and cannot get).
Controversial answer as most wouldnt say UK, but having travelled through Asia, Australia, Europe and Norht and South America, it has my vote!

Australia. Using natural/high quality ingredients to cook any recipes. I've watched many programs talked about Australia... I hope to go there someday just for taste the foods.

Australia, live here, consequently I eat here, and it is fresher and better than any other countries food I have ever tasted....which is limited to none! So its a rather ethnocentrical answer but hell who cares ?
