How do you get chlamydia?
Sexually active women and men can get chlamydia through sexual contact with an infected person. Chlamydia can be passed during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Because there are often no symptoms, people who are infected may unknowingly pass chlamydia to their sex partners.
An infected mother can also pass chlamydia to her baby during childbirth. Babies born to infected mothers can get pneumonia or infections in their eyes, also called conjunctivitis.
The more sex partners a person has, the greater the risk of getting infected with chlamydia. Chlamydia is easily confused with gonorrhea, another STD. Gonorrhea and chlamydia have similar symptoms and can have similar complications if not treated, but the two STDs have different treatments.

Something is wrong with this picture. If you have not had sex with anyone else and you just contracted an STD then your partner is the one that had to give it to you. Sometimes chlamydia has no symptoms and can go undiagnosed, but when your pregnant, I'm pretty sure they test for STD's. You need to have a heart to heart with your partner. If he gave you an STD he needs to fess up. At least with chlamydia, it's easily treatable with medication.

3 ways..........either of you have contacted it from a public place like a toilet................small chance of that...if any. You would pretty much have to sit in someones fluids. Gross, I know. He's lying to you and has cheated. Or.....possibly for some extraordinary reason the virus has been dormant in either of you and is just now showing.........not likely either........not for over 4 years. I'd guess he's cheating on you. What do you think? I'd also guess it's been within the last year because your 1 year old child would have shown symptoms when born. There is a small possibility it has remained dormant, but I still think he's cheated.

according to what I have read chlamydia ia a STD and that means sexually transmitted disease, so if you have not cheated then some one has cheated on you. I would go and get it rechecked before I blew a gasket but if the test remains positive then you know for sure

Well someone had to get it from someone else...it doesn't just happen. So if you didn't cheat and he says he didn't cheat..then one of you is lying...So I'd be looking for the liar and get THEM tested and some antibiotics...then I'd be looking for the person that gave it to THEM and doing the same thing...and reporting it to the Health Dept.....chlamydia can make you sterile...(female)

PAP tests do not test for chlamydia. They test cervical cells. They do NOT test for ANY STD's.
When you were pregnant, you should have had STD testing done. If you didn't, it's possible that it has been dormant for this long. Men can be asymptotic carriers of it.

it came from a person you or your partner had 'intimate' contact with.
It could have come from someone you or he knew before you got together. If that's not the case, one of you cheated, or the test is wrong.

Well the only way you could have got it is either you have been unfaithful without telling him, or he has done the deed without being honest with you!
I looked it up for you, it's easy to treat ok x x x

Maybe the last test missed it. Your partner should get tested and treated as well. He probably has it, and can give it to you again, if he doesn't treat it.
