It may not be *the* most awesome thing, but it's certainly right up there.

I first tried falafel in The International Travelers Restaurant and Tuba Museum in Okemos, Michigan. (Yes, I am serious.) It was part of their Middle Eastern sampler. . .talk about awesome food and atmosphere! The falafel was the best I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of it since then.

That's where I also got hooked on pesto, but that's a story for another post. :)

well I don't know about he most awesome thing EVER, but it is quite tasty! A Falafel kebab is my favorite. With Hommus & BBQ sauce!
