I got clinically diagnosed with herpes virus (type 2) about five yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. Herpes Simplex, HSV, HSV 1, HSV 2. THere isn't a technical name for it.

HSV-1 OR HSV-2. HSV-1 is facial or oral herpes, but you can also get it on your genitals. HSV-2 is genital herpes.
