Me and my husband have everything organic starting from Milk Juice to veggies.I don't know whether we can really trust the quality of the organic food available at these superstores like Safeway and Albertans but at least its better than the non organic foodstuff. If we can get rid of even 50-60% of the chemicals in the foodstuff its worth it.At least to me organic food tastes better. if you really want to find out find there is any difference in taste between organic and non-organic vegetables go and get a broccoli and a cauliflower. You will get you answer right away.

most organics are scams.

if it's mass produced it's not organic. there's always a process that takes away the organic ethic of the foods... whether it be meat or vegetable.

you have to be careful, read about organics in detail. you'll find out not very many resources provide organics... it's not cost effective.. you know many places love to save money... organic foods are more expensive and those health food places.. you read those lables.. and check out that information on the web you'll find out there's always one element or two that'll completely take away the organic in the so called organic food that you are trying to obtain.

i'm a bit mad about this whole organic thing... i laugh most times when i see "organically grown" but remember if it's completely organic before it hits the stores.. there's someone who's spraying it to preserve it (fresh produce) to keep it from getting contaminated.

IE: mass franchise grocers. where i live there are giants and though the vegetables and fruits are marked organic, they're under sprayers and those sprayers aren't just water.. there are pesticides in it to keep the mites and other insects away along with sterilizing the product after handling.

so there goes up in smoke the organic.

I try to eat mostly organic and I don't know if it's better but I can tell the difference between an organic apple and one that is not. Organic food tastes better to me. Some friends argue that organic foods go bad quicker but that's because it doesn't have all those chemicals that maintains food looking pretty for longer. I don't care how expensive it may be...I feel better eating it! My health and taste buds have no price! It is no scam it's nature's way!

I have not switched to eating only organic foods, so I cannot asnwer your question. I eat a combination of organic and non-organic.

A friend of mine told me that the best thing to buy organic, if you were to chose a vegetable to always buy organic, She said to buy Potatoes. Apparently, non organic potatoes are bad for you and have the most chemicals from any other non-organic vegetable. So if you are going to live an organic life, you change to organic Potatoes!! :)

the term organic is bull, the fda labels it " organic " if the food is 95% grown naturally and trust me there are several ways to get around the fda, i worked on a few farms in upstate new york and when they labeled it at the store as organic i laughed my azz off and thought if they only knew
