i want to make pouridge,, or oatmeal

i woudnt say it is raw. the oats are toasted to release the nutty flavor.

Yes, Quaker Oats are raw and can be eaten raw if you like them that way. They are whole oats rolled into a flake. Old fashioned oats are the thickest and quick-cooking oats are the thinnest. Either can be used to make oatmeal. The recipes are on the package.

Yes, but is says on the package if they are "quick" or old fashioned. Old fashioned is for recipes like cookies or any recipe that calls for oats. "quick" is for eating oatmeal, there are cooking times on the package.

yes, they are raw. Just follow the directions on the box. You could add some vanilla to the water (I do) and some raisins, dates, bananas, or apples to the water too. YUMMY!

I think they are oat groats (grains) and then they iron them flat with a steam iron or something like that.

nope, most of it's been toasted/treated.

remember the FDA did change laws on RAW foods ages ago.
