Have a potluck party... get some of those freeloaders to chip in.

What's always popular and you don't have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen:
1. Little Smokies in barbeque sauce
2. 7 Layer Dip with chips
3. Taquitos
4. Brownies
5. Go to Costco and see what they have in terms of platters

7 Layer Dip
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
4 cups shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup guacamole
1 cup salsa
1 (6 ounce) can black olives, chopped
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped green onions
DIRECTIONS
In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Set aside to drain and cool to room temperature.
Spread the beans into the bottom of a 9x13 inch serving tray that is about 1 1/2 inches deep. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese on top of beans. Sprinkle beef on top of cheese. Spread sour cream very slowly on top of beef. Spread guacamole on top of sour cream. Pour salsa over guacamole and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese. Sprinkle black olives, tomatoes, and green onions on top.
You can serve this dish immediately, or refrigerate it over night and serve cold. I think it tastes better at room temperature

a cheap dish that's tasty would be a dip consisting of melted Velveeta cheese and a can of heated chili mixed together. Throw in some tortilla chips and you have a tasty dip!

Simple nachos with tortilla chips, melted cheese, ground beef and sour cream is delicious and tasty and inexpensive

Simple ham and cheese sandwiches cut into fourths would work as well.

Also, Stuffed potato skins would be cheap and easy. Just some potatoes, cheese, and a small bit of cooked, crumbled bacon on top. Cook potatoes and hollow them out, add the cheese and cooked bacon on top, broil until melted, and top with sour cream

Also, a veggie tray made by yourself, with a simple dip is easy and cheap.

Either way, while the food is important, the thing that makes the party are the people in it, and the host making sure everyone is having a good time, have fun and good luck

A cheeseball would be a big hit, I shape mine in the shape of a football and use green onion strips for the laces. It will definately hold, and only get better that long! You could also stuff potatoe skins with cheese and bacon and line them on a cookie sheet and he could pop those under the broiler to go with the wings. Vegies and dip can be made ahead as well, add some sweets and chips and you're done! If you need the cheeseball recipe, comment back and I'll send it tomorrow.

Pot of chili, chips and cheese, veggies and dip. The key is that whatever you decide to serve, make it ahead of time so that you'll feel more like enjoying yourself during the game.

Pull out the crock pot, and make some chili or soup. What ever you don't eat, freeze for yourselves later :)
