I just read an article on Web MD that said not everyone's B/P drops when they sleep. I never knew that, I thought they all did. And sometimes if your tired, your B/P will drop, I don't know if it works the other way around. Sometimes people get weak if their B/P is low.

When you sleep, you are horizontal. Your body has less demands on your heart, but because on lying down, more blood returns to your heart. This is because gravity is no longer pooling the blood in your legs. The increase in blood return does make your heart's job more difficult which is why some people wake with chest pain.
A drop in blood pressure does not make you sleepy, but a big enough drop can cause one to pass out (called syncope).

there are two necessary process in someone's sleep:paradoxicall sleep[ps for short],and slow wave sleep.
only when you are in the slow wave sleep part, you will get your blood pressure drop down, when you are in ps section, the pressure maybe turn to be much more higher off and on
but whatever the phenomeon are, sleeping is obviously a kind of thing which could help you repair your tired body

Yes your blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day and is most low when you are resting....... Low blood pressure can cause drowsiness.
