I ask this because they specifically market them as
a women's product. Does anyone know why?
I've been using them from time to time as power
bars. Should I stop?

lol... That is a great question. You can always eat the male version (cliff bars), but my boyfriend likes the Luna bars a lot better. They haven't hurt him yet.

It could be a stereotyping thing. Luna bars are tasty and sweet -for women, and Cliff bars are beef-cake power bars -for males because they like to beef up more.

:)

They're fine! I eat both the Luna bars and the Clif bars (as does my boyfriend). It's just a marketing gimmick :)

as long as you can get over the name "luna bars" and the products motto that they are "designed for women" NO, not at all! They are yummy. My husband is a closet fan as well.

The vitamins and minerals are more suited for the needs of women, but I doubt there is anything in them that will harm you in any way. Don't worry about it. They are awesome power bars!
