Both are yummy. Nutritionally Asparagus is excellent source of potassium, vitamins K, C and A, folic acid, thiamin, riboflavin and B6. Brocoli is very rich in vitamin C and a good source of vitamins K, A , folic acid, phosporus, potassium, magnesium, B6, E and calcium. Brocoli also contains glucosinolates phytochemicals with anticancer properties.

Broccoli, by far! I love broccoli cheese soup and broccoli casserole.

I'll eat fresh asparagus, but it has to be drowned in either Hollandaise or vinagrette. Too many years of eating the nasty, slimy canned stuff as a kid, I guess.

I like Broccoli better b/c it is easier to make. Asparagus is tricky b/c sometimes it is too stringy.

Personally I like them both, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd pick broccoli. It goes great with cheese, even with just butter and a pinch of salt.

both are wonderful greens.

though aparagus it seems some produce handles don't know how to keep the asparagus from getting dry on the ends and it's more expensive over all.. which makes me mad.

:D
