Thanks to the sloppy method of gene splicing that Monsanto used it's become essentially impossible to avoid GMO food! Max Marie is (I think) referring to the Starlink corn problem that has been a *major* problem ever since the junk got approved. They (along with a lot of others) had to recall many products due to contaminated corn. The USDA's 'solution' to the problem of contamination was to essentially ban independent testing of the food supply! MSF does offer some products with 'organic' soy but since I'm quite familiar with what the term really means I tend not to pay much attention to that (yes, I'm a pessimist).

I used to. I like the style of Soy milk and i find Tofu is fairly versatile so I had at least three servings a day (soymilk, fake floor beef, soft tofu). Lamentably my body hates me and has developed a soy hypersensitivity so I can't devour it anymore (I used to be already allergic to exploit). No, i have by no means had melanoma, as opposed to my allergic reactions i have loved good health.

Since Morning Star Farms is now owned by Kellog's it's not likely they're worried about genetic engineering. Kellog's relies on genetically engineered corn.
If they were pure soy, it would say Non-GMO on the package.
