If it's hard for you to do it healthily try changing your diet slowly. It will be easier to adjust and learn how to find healthy replacements for single items than for entire groups of foods. cheese is a good place to start - not only is it one of the most processed dairy items, it is not snuck into foods like milk products or butter. Replace butter with oils, milk with soy milk, etc. Do what you can do - don't feel pressure to adhere to someone else's perscribed diet. If you try to jump into it odds are it won't stick anyway.

Hi, i am a vegan and below are some websites which might interest you. As well as that, in regard to money, it iwll probbly cost a bit more, but you will find that meat is actually quite expenisve to some fruits. Go to health food stores for vegan food, and even your normal general store. They will have some food.

Ps. Go to Amazon.com and search for books on vgenaism. There should be a lot. Find someone that is a vegan and get to know them.

I just have one suggestion.... get the book "How it All Vegan."
I can't give you advice on how to become a vegan personally, but this book lists stuff that you can't eat or use. It is a recipe book that also has recipes for household products and soaps and stuff. It is worth checking out the book. I got it because I am a vegetarian as a gift from a friend who got it because she is allergic to eggs. We both LOVE the book.

Pick up books from your library. Start small. Do what you can. Every little bit helps.

Sarah Kramer's books on veganism are the best.
