Genital herpes cannot be cured. Once infected, the virus stays in the body for the rest of the individual's life
Research suggests that the virus can be transmitted even when there are no symptoms present, so that a sexual partner without obvious genital herpes sores may still transmit the illness. In fact, asymptomatic spread may actually contribute more to the spread of genital herpes than do active sores. HSV-1 is responsible for only 5-10% of genital herpes cases, while HSV-2 causes the majority of genital herpes cases. HSV-2 can be transmitted through oral or genital secretions.

I got diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about five years ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/kXzKA everything got better.
Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

If you are just considering dating this person, I would recommend that you forget it and him. To marry someone with Herpes will cause you a LOT of inconvenience for the rest of your life. Each time you have sex, special precaution will have to be taken. What will happen, when, in the middle of the night when both of you are half asleep and things, all of a sudden, get wild? You will have Herpes also. It just isn't worth the problems and risks. Good luck. Pops

I would take a WIDE BERTH!!! I dated a girl years ago who was really screwed up on the head. Long story short, she was also a compulsive liar and after we broke up, she end up going out with some loser in a frat who was supposedly the epitome of what she didn't like in guys. Anywho, he gave her herpes and I think we both learned a lesson. I learned just to the extent of her problems, and she realized that if anybody wants to be with her, he has to truly like her. What goes around truly does come around!!

You can date him if you'd like.. but I sure as Hell would not sleep with him.. which kind of limits things after a while of dating.
Perhaps it's best to just pass.. be friends..

over 85% of sexually active people have been exposed to herpes! I think you should read up on it alone before you ask this question.
Honestly i wouldn't, but then again I'm not the most active of people.
how good of friends are you.......... do you trust him?

Are you planning on staying with him? If so, then you must weigh hope much you like him vs. if you want herpes the rest of your life! It's your decision!
