Here's a recipe. Grab some lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and olives, and lay them all on a slice of bread. Add condiments to taste. Then add a half-inch-thick juicy, flamed broiled hamburger patty (95% lean, of course), and finally, another slice of bread. And, there you have it, a hamburger! (I hope you know I'm only joking. I hate to admit it, by I do seem to be one lousy cook!)

Emsr really did do a good job but missed something *really* easy. Most any real health food store will carry a vegan friendly seasoning powder called Spike. Get a bottle or the (irritating) bag in box container of it and try it on your veggies (and everything else). Quite tasty and since a major part of the flavor is nutritional yeast it's good for you!

Veggie stir fry - you really don't need that much oil (and remember you have to have some fat in your diet anyway)

Steam them lightly (maybe 3 or 4 minutes) then serve drizzled with soy sauce, and with some pumpkin seeds and pine kernels over the top.

Mixed roasted vegetables - you can even dry roast them (no oil). Just Google "roasted vegetables" for loads of recipes.

I guess it all depends how much you already like the taste of vegetables! Personally I adore all of them, raw, steamed, roasted, stewed, in soup, you name it. Can't get enough of them. I'll happily just steam a pan of broccoli, courgette, red peppers, sweetcorn, peas and mushrooms for 4 minutes, sprinkle with pepper and eat like that.

When steaming veggies, I add seasoning to the water, lemon juice, garlic, whatever. It infuses the veggies and enhances flavor, instead of covering it up.I prefer not to put anything directly on my veggies. And I am not a vegetarian, just REALLY like my veg this way.

In my Biggest Loser cookbook there is a recipe for cauliflower that is yummy. Toss fresh florets with olive oil, garlic powder and pepper, a little parmesan cheese and fresh parsley and bake. It's really good.

Garlic & salt are a good staple, and very versatile. Also, lots of marinades are super tasty and if you look you can find low fat varieties. But don't shy away from using olive oil to taste; your body needs (good) fats to function properly!

Steam them, and then add garlic and tamari. Grill them on skewers and baste them with a teriyaki sauce.
