I have asthma, wasn't born with it, got it as a child. Now I'm 17.
I'm having severe pain in my back (mostly upper) and chest for a little more than 24 hours. It wasn't severe last night, it just keeps getting worse.
It's been hard to breath all day. I can't go to the doc, it's almost 4 in the morning and I don't want to wake my parents. I was coughing for two days so far, but now it hurts my diaphram when I do, so I can't anymore.
I get cold then hot. Also dizzy sometimes.

Can someone tell me whats wrong, and what I can do?

JUST KEEP OUT OF REACH OF COLD. it will stuck ur respiratory system. Be warm as mu as u can be. Take some "broncho dialators"to realive bronchial cough. take "salbutamol" for some days. and do some exercise for lungs like breath in breath out.

ok, I have asthma from childhood too. heres what you do in an emergency- go into your bathroom and shut the door. Turn on the hot water in the tub and just let it run so your bathroom gets all steamy. Sit in there and deeply inhale the steam for 15-20 minutes. This will help your lungs expand so you can get the oxygen you need. You can do this as often as needed, it's totally safe!

Cold air will trigger the coughing, as well as alergies to almost anything. Mine include Pets, Feather pillows, heavey dust, plant pollens, Also certain foods will cause me to have problems breathing. Take advice above - warm steamy air will relieve it a little but not cure it.
You need to have a full cycle of tests done for allergys as something is triggering the attacks. Feel free to wake the parents (as one I would want you to if you where my daughter)

Sounds like you could have an infection in your lungs. Wake your parents and go to A&E

It sounds like you have a respiratory tract infection. Drink fluids and try to breathe in fresh air until you can go to the doctor. You could also try boiling water in a pot and breathing in the steam.

Where is your rescue inhaler? If you are having an attack, wake your parents so they can help you.
