Okay, this ranks high oin the Doh! list.
I sent off for some medications, but I think they sent me the wrong kind.It is Lisinopril 20mg, and normally it is an ablong pink pill with the numbers 1114 on one side and 93 on the other.
I got my mail order prescription, but it does not look right. It is white, in a 5 sided shape and has the numbers 3760 on one side.I have looked on the web and found my old tablets, but not these new ones. How can I tell at this time of night if these are correct?

I would go to the neighborhood 24hour Walgreens and ask the pharmacist

anytime your dealing with medications you must know what your medication is, if its the correct dosage, and the correct dosage.

In your case, not being sure what medicine you have on hand, its a good idea to not take the medication at the moment just because you don't know if your taking the right pill and you have no idea how it will interact with other meds that you're taking at the moment. I suggest you call a 24 hour pahrmacy ask if there's a pharmacist in the store and describe the pill on the phone, or if that doesn't work for you just wait til the morning and take it to the pharmacy so that if you have the wrong med they can switch out for the right one.

Medication does change shape and form and numbers. However, I can not tell you if it's the same, but it most likely is. I'd consult a pharmacist to be sure. I know with my Rx, everytime I pick it up, it's different.

Agree with above.......Pharmacists have a PDR that they can look up "generic" drugs with........please research this before you take it........you really need to know for sure that it is the right drug....
