I have this major rash on my back side, i was wondering if there was any type of topical cream that you would suggest. It has been there for awhile and started to get very lumpy and i don't feel like going to the doctor because of the embarrassment, could this be a form of an STD? i don't know how i could have gotten this lumpy rash on my buttocks. but maybe if i take a wire brush to the lumps it could help a bit with some rubbing alcohol.

It absolutely CAN be an STD. (Specifically, Herpes) Do not mess around with this. Get to your family Dr. ASAP.

Wire brushes, alcohol and sore bottoms so not mix!!! you will be on fire and no way of relieving it!! Try some hydrocortizone cream or even vaseline, if these don't give you any relief then by all means go to the doctor as this could be a recurring problem. Not only would the brush and alcohol be a painful idea, but you will increase your risk for infection and then you will be in real pain!

Not enough to go on with your description - there are many different types of rashes, and many different causes. You definitely do not want to use a brush and alcohol - there aren't any types of rashes that will improve with that approach, and most will get worse. This link has a key to narrow down the type of rash, and typical treatments for each type:

I think it was a wire brush that caused it! Try rubbing the semen of a Yak on it followed by burning of sage in a small, enclosed mud room. It won't clear the azz mountains, but it'll take your mind off of the itching and get you away from the computer chair, which could ALSO have caused an itchy azz...

its better to know what those bumps are on your behind. i suggest you make an appt to meet with your MD and have him/her assess it. you may be embaressed but atleast you would know what caused it and to make sure that you will from now on avoid those bumps from showing up again.
