Particularly an energy supplement. How much sugar (grams) is too much for a diabetic?

if you are on the proper medication. it doesn't matter. also, you should be looking at the carbs not the sugar. I always choose the product with the least carbs.

Energy supplements tend to have too much sugar. I can't give an exact amount, but for me personally, more than a couple of grams is too much. As always, you should ask your doctor or dietician.

Any. Try to avoid foods and supplements with added sugar. Try water with a slice of lemon squeezed into it, along with moderate exercise to give yourself an energy boost.

Energy supplements - no. Your body can't handle those if you are diabetic. You need to look into other options for getting more energy. For me, it's exercise and/or a nap. Then I feel like new.

I try not to go above 15grams.
