my cholesterol results were 246:total.......ldl: 130.......hdl: 46 and my protein was 8.0 the reference range was from 3.0 to 6.2

I'm a medical student and I was just told that normal blood protein levels are around 5.5 to 8. I would think you are just at the high level of normal.

I'm a cardiovascular perfusion student, and we always have learned the Total Plasma protein concentration (TPP) normally is between 6.0-8.4 gm/dL
