I agree with Max Marie. You're already getting protein in all the fruits and veggie you're eating. You can use the link below to figure out how much protein you're already eating. You might just get a pleasant surprise at how protein rich your current diet is!

A high protein diet is NOT good for you. You'll produce ketones. Which are toxins. You'll begin to smell funny as your body begins to break down.
You get antioxidants and phytochemicals from fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Not protein. You want to age yourself quickly, go high protein. You want to clog your heart, go high protein. Consuming too much protein places extra stress on your liver and kidneys because they have to metabolize and excrete more than normal amounts of waste products. Why? Because you DON'T need all that protein. Kidney stones can be caused or aggravated by the high uric acid levels created by high-protein foods. And for those who have diabetes or kidney disease, high-protein diets may speed the progression of kidney disease, even if the diet is followed for a short time. Recent studies suggest that eating too much protein causes excessive calcium loss, which can contribute to osteoporosis.
So you'll be old, feeble and bent!
Good carbs help you lose weight. Whole grains. Whole wheat pasta. Whole wheat bread. Quinoa pasta and items like that.
There is plenty of protein in nuts, mushrooms and avocado.

Beans are high in proteins and high in fiber. But also high in calories. Nuts high in proteins and high in fiber but also high in calories. Small amount of nuts in your diet . If you eat to much you will gain weight very fast. Be careful on your amounts of beans and nuts very good for vegetarians but high in calories. I know I used to eat a lot and gain weight very fast. small amounts will do it. I cup will have over 600 calories if not more. I hope this give you the full picture.

Nuts are a good source of protein. Try eating a cup of nuts everyday to increase your protein intake. (cashews, peanuts, walnuts, etc.) Also try protein powder. It is basically tasteless and you can add it to your food, drink, or just mix it into the dough of whatever you are making. Dairy products also are good for protein.
