Yes, the urologist is your best bet. He could maybe do an ultrasound of your bladder and a cat scan of the kidneys to make sure you don't have kidney stones or something else. They say that a man passing a kidney stone is roughly equivalent (in pain) to a woman having a baby.

What test did your doc order? If it was a complete STD screening, and it came back negative, congrats....now go to your urologist as recommended and make sure you don't have something else like stones, prostate or other infection, etc..
If your doc didn't test for 'everything', then make sure you get a complete screening...but your urologist can do that as well.
I would step up your intake of clear fluids....lots of water, and get to the uro asap. Good luck!

Well that just tells you it is probably not an infection. You could have kidney problems, kidney stones or it could be a cut in your bladder or urethra that is bleeding. A uro could tell you more infothough.

Did you get yourself a urinary fungal exam? What you might have is a candida infection. It's rare on men, but it happens.
