Herpes infection is spread from person-to-person. You can get infected:.
By direct contact (touching, kissing, rubbing) with the sores or blisters
By having sex (vaginal, anal, or oral), especially if not using a condom
From mother to baby during childbirth
Herpes simplex virus causes herpes. This virus has two types, (oral herpes) usually causes infections on the lips or mouth (cold sores or fever blisters). (genital herpes) usually causes sores and blisters in the genital area. However, virus from the mouth can infect the genitals and virus from the genitals can infect the mouth. Herpes virus can also infect other parts of the body. Both viruses can live inside nerve cells and cause symptoms that occur again and again.

no. Its passed by contact. Physical actual contact. Not airborn stuff around you.

Here..... some of you are a little off....
HSV-1 and HSV-2 can be found in and released from the sores that the viruses cause, but they also are released between outbreaks from skin that does not appear to be broken or to have a sore. Generally, a person can only get HSV-2 infection during sexual contact with someone who has a genital HSV-2 infection. Transmission can occur from an infected partner who does not have a visible sore and may not know that he or she is infected.

HSV-1 can cause genital herpes, but it more commonly causes infections of the mouth and lips, so-called "fever blisters." HSV-1 infection of the genitals can be caused by oral-genital or genital-genital contact with a person who has HSV-1 infection. Genital HSV-1 outbreaks recur less regularly than genital HSV-2 outbreaks.

You can't get it from breasts but you CAN get it from drinking after someone or kissing them if they are having an outbreak.
Here's the really bad news. Most people do not detect that they are having an outbreak right at first. They discover it when it's too late.

Oral herpes is spread through saliva.

Yikes. I hope he didn't drink from her glass or kiss her at any time.

Have him see a doctor. ANY disease can be transmitted in a number of ways, some more likely than others. The chance of getting herpes from a "near miss" is minimal (0), but other ways are always possible.

(god punished him for having his eyes open in there!!!!!)

herpes can come from kissing, oral sex, sex. cold sores are a form of herpes. anyone w/ a cold sore is more likely to carry the bad strand of herpes.

tell him to stay out of the strip clubs and he'll be safe. they are dirty, fithly, germ infested holes with nothing but druggies in them. trust me....use to go to them often in my early 20's. look at one without all the fancy, programed lighting and you'll gag at 1. the girls and how they really look, 2. how the place really looks and how filthy it really is.

If she had her breasts on the face/lips with someone with an active outbreak...it could possibly be transferred to him. It's a good idea for all men to get a full STD/HIM screen once or twice a year depending on how sexually active they are anyway, so have him do that to be sure.
