My upper arms were blue/grey from elbow to shoulder, like a bruise, and the veins in my hands and upper body were pronounced and my hands appeared to have dark grey bruising across the veins also. It began to dissappear the next day and I felt fine, dull headache 2 days later...
What should I do? No pain, no other symptoms, I tood aspirin out of fear. I have a family history of stroke and I'm 45.

As a cardiologist I will advise to perform a circulatory ultrasound, of your upper arms, xay chest , and echocardiogram.
Much better will be to see your cariologist, since you have family history of stroke immediately.
best of luck

Hey I think everyone is on the right track

Its either a circulation problem
or my guess is a BLOOD problem- if its a family history of stroke, its not your pipes as much as it may be what's in them. Your blood may be too thick or maybe even something else

be careful, I would advise making an appointment to see either a heart or blood specialist pretty soon (cardiologist or hematologist)

please dont be stubborn, go now so you can find out sooner and treat it more efficiently, you're family will appreciate seeing you take care of yourself. Often times these sort of things can be fixed easily with early intervention
Good luck!
