I've been having diffuclty of breathing for two weeks now. I just feel there's not enough air going into my lungs, and I feel like I want to yawn all the time, so I went to the doc and he gave me medicine called brochodilator, he said in a week I'll be feeling great, but it's been 10 days I don't feel anyimprovement, I'm going to to him again, but what do you think I might have?

You didn't say what bronchodialtor med he gave you but obviously it is not working so go back or call his office and talk to his nurse. It would have been helpful though if you had posted what med he gave you. Bronchodialtor is a class of medications not the name of a medication.

there can be a number of reasons that you don't feel that you're getting enough air. 1)your airways aren't moving enough air 2)your lungs aren't filling up all the way. the doctor gave you a bronchodilator to make your airways larger. he probably tested your lung capacity, etc. i think that an issue may be how you are using the inhaler. ask the doctor exactly how you should use the inhaler to make sure that a maximum amount of the medication reaches your lungs.

Is the bronchodilator in inhaler or aerosol form? Ask your doc if you're using it correctly. If it's an inhaler, you should be using a spacer so more of the drug gets into your lungs. Some people take inhalers wrong, and the drug only gets in the back of their throat, and not in the lungs at all. So go back to your doc!

Singulair is a good medication, Advair is a good one and it does not affect any other pard of the body, another thing that wors is to get a nebulizer and use "duoneb" twice a day (I use it four).
The last one is chancy, many doctors will not give it but I take 65mg of phenobarbitol each morning and evening - works like a charm

Don't know enough about your situation to really give you an answer, however, it could be any number of things up to and including pnuemonia. Glad you are going back to the doctor.

Ask about singulair, I use it and it has been very beneficial to me. Also look into trying the Advair Discus, that will help over time.
