Eating problems are purely psychological. You have to relearn how you think about eating. Changing from living to eat to eating to live is not that hard when you consider the consequences. Here's a link that might help:

Any name-brand antacid tablet will help some, or alka-seltzer.
While I normally agree with Peachy's answers 100%, there can be another cause of overeating, too, that is generally not talked about. When our bodies fail to metabolize (digest properly) the food we eat, we are left with nutritional deficiencies that significantly affect our health. When a severe nutritional deficiency occurs, the body keeps sending out hunger signals, even though we have actually eaten all the CALORIES we can burn before our next meal. So we eat until we start receiving mild pain signals from our now over-full stomach, and feel discomfort, but are still unsatisfied, and don't know why.
The process repeats itself day after day until we get proper NUTRITION, or until our bodies properly metabolize the nutrition we get.
One of the main culprits in this dance toward poor health and obesity is a lack of digestive enzymes, because commercially -prepared foods MOSTLY have the enzymes destroyed in the commercial cooking or preserving process.
Hence the need for more fresh fruits and veggies in our diets (lots of enzymes and other goodies), and less fast food, trans fats and soda pop. Best of luck.

Eating problems are not all psychological.
Diseases like Cushing's makes people hungry and even causes weight gain when you don't overeat.
If i had a dollar for every shrink who told me I was overeating to fill an emotional void, I'd be rich .I was overeating because I was starving.
There are other medical reasons for overeating.
