It could be guyabano. I have this growing at my home in Puerto Rico. It is green and has little spikes all over it. My husband who is Puerto Rican calls it a guayábana. I am just curious about what it is used for.

Ok.. I am from Puerto Rico... You have "Guanabana" or "Guanabano" which is the spiky gren fruit with white pulp also called Soursop in the US.
You may eat raw, in fruit saldas, in shakes or add to your favorite Sauce, including BBQ. It is good in dressings for salads, poultry and seafoods. Very tropical flavor. You must seed it and scoup the pulp. Once you have the pulp, blend it with crushed ice, papaya, bananas and milk for a great shake. You may brew the leaves for a great tea.

But also you have "guayabas" that are guavas, only that in Puerto Rico we have 2 kinds. One with the pink pulp and one with a white pulp... They are basically the same. Nice fruit for making desserts, pastry, sauces, candies. It goes well with steaks with a BBQ/Guava sauce.

I think you mean Guyabano. It's a kind of fruit. We have it in Philippines. It is green in colour, spiky and rough skin. It's white and fleshy inside. It tastes like sweety sour but it's divine when you make it like shakes.

It is a guanabana. Guanabana or soursop is a fruit and I find its flavor to be really like eating pineapple, banana and strawberry at once but very very sour. It is very hard to eat because of all its seeds and fibers. I do love it when you get juice out of it, add some water and freeze it as "limbers". Bad for you in large amounts because it contains annonacin which is toxic and can impair metabolism (This of course in large amounts) It is also high in carbs and vitamins c, b1and b2.

it is also known by asians as sour sop. it is a great fruit to eat. you can cut it open and eat the fleshy white fruit. just beware of the large browninsh black seeds. i love to eat it as is and having it in a vietnamese smoothie. to make it, you will need the fruit with all the seeds removed, ice and condensed milk. place the fruit, heaping tbsp of condensed milk and ice in a blender. crush the ice. add more condensed milk if you like it sweeter or add more fruit. it makes a great refresshing beverage. i also like to freeze the fruit and eat it as a cold treat. vietnamese people also make jam and candies with the fruit. you can make jam or candy just by cooking it up with sugar. very tasty. was my favorite treat as a child in vietnam.
