"Heart Attack " technically termed Myocardial Infarction,is a result of total blockage of the blood vessel(coronary artery)which supplies blood to the heart.
The blockade is due to the formation of a plug composed of Cholesterol, blood cells, fibrin and calcium
The heart attack may manifest with a sudden onset of severe central chest pain described as heavy, compressing pain, which can radiate to the left hand, jaw or to the back.
It is often associated with profuse sweating and weakness.
The presentation can be so sudden that the patient suddenly collapses and becomes unresponsive with profuse sweating and cold peripheries.
The causes for heart attack are many apart from smoking and alcohol. They are of two types and classified as below:
A)Non-modifiable risk factors:
1) Increasing age
2)Gender
3)Heredity(including race)
B)Modifiable risk factors.
4)SMOKING
5)High blood Cholestrol
6)High blood pressure
7)Physical inactivity
8)Obesity
9)Diabetes mellitus
10)Stress
11)ALCOHOL

Almost many people know that the factors listed below are the basic reasons for heart attack
Abnormal cholesterol
Diabetes
High blood pressure
Stress
Abdominal obesity
Sedentary lifestyle
Eating too few fruits and vegetables
But to my surprise Your Dental Health be the Reason of Heart Attack. As people who suffer from moderate or advanced periodontal disease (gum) have a greater chance to develop heart problems. The major risk factors for gum problems are the same for heart problems that is high use of tobacco, diabetes and improper nutrition. Therefore, those who suffer from dental problems are at a higher risk for heart attacks.

BP & Unhealthy Lifestyle is when mixed with Depression & cocktail of Smoking & Liquir can lead towards Heart Attack.
and sugar problems can make more complications.
Controlling Imotions can be helpful for controlling so many diseases.
Blood Preassure is a biggest reason for heart attack if ignored.
Daily walking for 3 Kms with a healty Food (diet with less fats & not too much meat with balance of foods) can be helpful for a heart & many other diseases.
Little bit of Yoga (Pranayam) with meditation (for whatever time) will be an extra protecting shield from these diseases.
Even Yoga & Meditation (mixed with Drug therapy) has the ability to improve/ reversal of Coronary Artery Diseases up to some extent.
& I think when a person cries or (depressed) he's leading towards CAD (Coronary Artery Disease) coz there's a major role of Emotions attached to Heart Attack.(My personal Experiance)
Please feel free to contact me for more information regarding Heart Diseases & Stroke.

hi, drinking as such will not lead to heart attack. in fact red wine in limited amount of intake may protect us from heart attack. but smoking is notorious. even young smokers with no other risk factors develop heart attack. other reasons are poor dietary habits with high fat diet, sedentary life style with not much physical activity, very stress full life style, other comorbid conditions like hypertension, diabetes etc. so eat healthy diet, be happy and cheerfull, do regular exercise. stay healthy.

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is the most common underlying cause of a heart attack. CAD is the hardening and narrowing of the coronary arteries by the buildup of plaque in the inside walls (atherosclerosis). Over time, plaque buildup in the coronary arteries can cause a heart attack.

60% of the blood produced is circulated around the heart to keep the heart working. If there is any obstruction in the line, there will be less blood circulation resulting in increased load on the heart.
when the load is increased on the heart due to any reason, one may get heart attack.
