I've visited the doctor twice. The first time I was prescribed a series of zithromax and the second time I was prescribed an albuterol inhaler. Neither have helped my cough. What's going on with me?

I also had a chest x-ray. It was clear.

Yes, this sinus infection/drainage/cough is about a two weeker, or so everyone who has had it tells me. I've had this s#@t for about ten days. I too went the RX route and I still have drainage and popping in my lungs. I've been a Luggievillie Hocker for sure.

You have an upper respiratory infection and a lingering cough. Try some Robitussin DM. I have had pneumonia since Christmas and it works wonders.

You did not say if you have been running a temperature, do you have mucus production? If so what color is it? Do you have other symptoms? Night sweats? It could be a number of things. You should definitely see a pulmonologist.

Better see a pulmonologist and have some diagnostics done. X-rays, CT chest, and sputum culture.

1st of all some docs are so stupid that they wont even give you tests. try to go to some walk-in-clinics and find a doc that actually takes your cough seriously. it might be a problem with your chest or lungs.

You likely have fluid in your lungs. I would say it may be bronchitis or walking pneumonia. Make sure to let your doctor know this is still occurring.
