It sounds like a urinary tract infection or cystitis
Water dilutes the strength of the urine whch is why it feel better after you drink some. Blood in urine is not a great sign, shows infection has set in. Time to see a health care professional, and think about cranberry, uva ursi and goldenseal. :o)

This is a Urinary Tract Infection for sure. Just go to the dr and get a prescription for a antibiotic.. Bactrium works really good and starts working a couple of hours after you take one. And Soaking in a hot bath helps alot.. Hope you feel better! :)

you can be checked for an std infection, that wouldn't hurt, however your blood in the urine could indicate a bladder or kidney problem. to play it safe have a nephrologist give you an exam to rule out kidney/bladder problems. he/she may refer you to a urologist. if you are sexually active - multiple partners it would be wise to get tested for std', getter safe than sorry!
