Suck on zinc lozenges, take extra vitamin C, use nose spray (for only a couple days at most). "Airborne" has helped me too, which you can find in the cold medicine aisle at the pharmacy. Hope you get well soon!

Boil water in a stainless steel bowl and when you see the steam , carefully place the water bowl on the floor.Cover yourself with the big towel so that you form some sort of an enclosure with the steaming hot water bowl. Be extremely careful when you do this. It acts like a sauna only that it is a custom/personalized one.Breath in the steam for around 5 minutes or as long as you are comfortable. Try this 2 -3 times a day. You should feel a lot better.
Caution: If you are very old or very young do this with adult supervision as chances of boiling water spurting out is very high.
You can also try this with the hot water coming out of your tap and using a plastic bucket to cover yourself.

When I get cold I get half kilogram of dry dates and after cleaning I mix it with half kilo of milk and boil it. I eat it and do not drink water afterwards. Next morning I feel better. I think you should not do anything to cure cold fastly. Let it be like that and wait for few days. It will automatically ok after three days. Do not suppress it with medicine or else. Better go to see doctor.

sorry youre sick... to clear your nose up take a hot shower or sit in steam, then make some warm salt water, WARM and not tooooo much salt-just enough to make it a little salty. then use the salt water as a nasel spray.. it sounds yucky and crazy but it will clear you up. hot tea with honey and lemon juice always works to make me feel better.... and sometimes losing your voice isnt the worst thing right? i hope you feel better soon, colds are the WORST!!
