Please see the web pages for more details on Fainting (Syncope). The following measures may also be taken.

I would immediately start eating healthier if I were your husband. No red meats and lean fish/chicken and plenty of fruits and veggies. Also, no sugar (soft drinks, cake, etc.). No butter or saturated fats. Some olive oil and other monosaturated fats are fine.

This might help with the heart issue. He may also have low blood sugar, which the doctor should have tested for.

All normal tests do not guarantee that there can't be any problem. Did he faint once only? does he faint when passing urine? Is there any difficulty in passing urine? does he have any jerky movements of body when he faints? does he becomes a little confused or complains of headache after fainting. does fainting occur only in standing position or has it also occurred when lying or sitting?

Its a vasovagal response it can happen for lots of reasons but Vasovagal syncope is rarely life-threatening in itself, but may be associated with injury from falling. In your husbands case he was in a a standing position which caused blood pooling in the legs which increased the work of the sympathetic nervous system and increased his heart rate which in turn increase the contraction of the hart which maintains blood pressure, pooling of blood causes the heart to be less full causing the body to work harder to maintain blood pressure and triggering a vasovagal response. http://cumc.columbia.edu/dept/syncope/test/level-2/diagnoses/neurocardiogenic.htm

I really like both fruits and fruit and vegetables better, regardless how they look and taste. You desire a little of both.

If perhaps it's a fruit they have seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.
