Stop Snoring Sleep Apnea Forever - http://Snoring.neatprim.com

Sleep apnea is linked with snoring. Breathright strips may work for mild snoring. I don't know the name of it, but there is a device that your teeth fit into. Most people usually have an overbite. The device pulls your upper teeth forward into line with your bottom teeth thereby opening your throat. I have sleep apnea and use a Cpap machine. That helps the most.

Yes, you have to see a doctor about it. I tried a few non-medical items in stores, but they really didn't work. I was diagnosed as having sleep apnea, and have been given what's called a CPAP machine that I wear at night when I sleep. Sure, you probably don't want to have to wear a mask while you're sleeping, but it will stop your snoring and increase your physical well being.

I didn't want it either, but I'm used to it now. It's especially helpful if you live in a dry environment (Like Chicago in the winter) if you get the kind with a humidifier.

In the meantime, try to not sleep on your back, get plenty of exercise -- snoring is worse when you're not in good physical condition -- and, if you're carrying a few too many pounds, lose that excess weight.

But do make an appointment with your doctor right away. You'll be doing yourself, and anyone within earshot a favor.

The first thing you need to do is see your doc to make sure there is no medical cause for your snoring. Once the doc determines there is no medical cause then he can tell you what can be done for your snoring. Snoring is frequently a sign of a medical problem like sleep apnea.

Surgery is one option to cure snoring (for example a uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, or uvulopalatoplasty); dental appliances such as a mandibular advancement splint are another. There are many devices such as nose clips to dilate the nostrils and jaw mechanics to keep the jaw in an optimum position. A pinky ring is purported to reduce snoring through accupressure

The only things I know about snoring is that for some, drinking will cause snoring (or make it lounder) and for some it is caused when they are sleeping on their back. These people you can just roll over.
