I 've been checked recently with negative results. It's a constant pain like a pointed piece of glass pinching in there, the pain goes stright to my back. The cat scann showed nothing and the doctors seem to busy in getting the next "costumer"s money. Well, problably next time. Help

Where did you go, and what tests did they run? While there are many false positive CT Scans of the heart, false negatives are rare. There are a lot of things that can mimic "heart" pain and it may be one of those. I would see an internist to be checked out. This should not be ignored.

go to a different clinic . ask for a stress test best test for your heart if there is something wrong that will find it .also maybe its a spasm coming from your rib cage going thru do you have any back problems sitting in front of PC to much will cause these pains from bad posture. i finally found a doctor that saw me and took a stress test and EKG . don't be afraid to confront these doctors and do not settle for weak answers from them also if its a clinic report them they can get fired

Let me venture this idea.
Inflamed intercostal.
Your ribs are held to the sternum with a ligament. If you tkae a blow to the chest, you can inflame it.
it is a sharp, stabbing pain, right above your heart.
Naprosyn or any other anti-imflammatory will allow it to heal.
Now, this is just one possibility, I am not a doctor, but I get it a lot, for once it happens, it is easier to inflame it again

Sounds like acid reflux,that's why they can't find anything.Acid reflux u do have pain in your back as well.Mines kills me.I wish I could just do something about it. Take something for Acid. It should go away.The pain is not your heart its under the breast bone feel like the heart but its not.

If that were me I would insist the doctor look at me now!!! If he won't cooperate go to the emergency room at your hospital and tell them about your pain.
