Coke,,,for coca-cola, soda for everything else. Pop is for somewhere other than the northeast!!

Pop -- Im from Minnesota what can I say if you ask for a soda here you may get a drink with cola ice cream and whip cream on top it's happened to me before after being on the east coast for awhile and coming home ordered a cherry soda (wanted a cherry coke) and got some crazy ice cream thing

pop. i'm a northerner, so.... it's pop! coke is a specific type of pop and soda is usually used to refer to baking soda! (again, this is just where i'm from)
