It is possible to have unprotected sex with someone with HIV and not get it. Also it is easier for a male to spred HIV than it is for a woman....

No, they do not spread it to everyone. Common sense says that they are going to be very careful and protect their partners by making sure to use condoms. Many years ago I knew a couple that had a baby together. While the wife was pregnant with the baby they found out that the husband had AIDS. The wife was check and when the child was born she was check---they did this for years and neither the wife nor the child ever developed HIV or AIDS. He did die from the disease. Talking with the wife she did explain that they had always been very careful and they had only had sex a few times without a condom when they were preparing to have their baby.

Pretty much, condoms make it harder for the guy to spread it to a woman because the virus is in the guy's sperm, but the HIV virus is small enough to get past the condom and into the woman, or guy if the the woman is the one infected. I am assuming you mean you're having sex, you can just sleep with an HIV positive person and not worry about it. You can only get it through sexual intercourse or blood contact.

ewwww, thats a dangerous line your following.

Best bet, consult a doctor. Also, if you decide to do it, make sure you have condoms. Condoms are best preventers of STDs but are in no way 100% safe. Any exchange of concentrated fluids like blood, semen will have a higher percentage of infection compared to sweat and saliva.

Factoid: You would need to drink 10 litres of saliva in order to get the same % of high risk compared to blood and semen.

Also, if you have sores, tears and microtears, it can increase the chances of infection

but better safe than sorry. No spanky spanky with someone of has STDS

Cheers

They spread it to most everyone. Who knows if the few people that don't get it might be those rare ones that can't get it/immune to it. A person with HIV should not have sex in my opinion unless their mate has it as well. It will only make the epidemic worse.

There have been people who have slept with people with HIV/AIDS and they have not contracted the disease because there are factors that can increase your risk, but the best thing to do is use protection and get tested every 6 months to take care of yourself.

Not exactly. Considering what type of sex you have, you have anywhere from a 1 in 200 chance from getting HIV from a positive person to 1 in 10,000 chance.

Here are the infection rates per 10 thousand and their comparative odds. (Assuming only one sexual contact, odds go up dramatically with every contact)

Receptive anal intercourse 50, or 1 in 200

Lifetime odds of dying in a car crash:

1 in 100

Percutaneous needle stick 30, 1 in 333

Lifetime odds of dying after falling down:

1 in 246

Receptive penile-vaginal intercourse* 10, 1 in 1,000

Lifetime odds of dying in a fire: 1 in 1116

Insertive anal intercourse* 6.5, 1 in about 1,600

Lifetime odds of you choking to death:

1,267

Insertive penile-vaginal intercourse 5, 1 in 2000

Odds of fatally slipping in bath or shower: 2,232 to 1

Male receptive oral intercourse. 1, 1 in 10,000

Odds of injury from shaving: 6,585 to 1

Male insertive oral intercourse .5, 1 in 20,000

Odds of finding a four-leaf clover on first try: 10,000 to 1

But because it's relativley rare to get it shouldn't give you a license to screw everything you see without wearing protection.

Odds of getting HIV through a condom is 1 in 50,000-1 in 500,000 assuming your partner is positive.

Odds of dying from being mauled by an animal: 49,666

And by the way, the virus itself can go through latex or polyurethane, but the virus travels through living cells, which are blocked by condoms. So wear protection. Just remember, you know more people that have died in car crashes than have died being mauled by animals.

If they aren't using condoms the assumption is yes. But if they are having protected sex, it is possible for it not to spread as long as there is no contact with body fluids.

No. Studies have shown that women and men who have anal sex are more vulnerable to contracting HIV. The vagina and anus tear easily, allowing the virus to enter the bloodstream. To get HIV, the virus has to enter the bloodstream.

Hit and miss, but most people are likely to get it I would think.
