The nicotine causes the heart rate to increase and decreases the flow of blood to the heart. This increases the heart rate for a short time.
So yes the smokers heart rate is faster. The nicotine also causes a increase in the blood pressure. Which can cause an increase in the HR as well.

Yes, it does. I am smoker since 25 years, And I can see the difference.
It's not just speedy heart beating, complexion skin damage, painful legs, and surely you can guess about how does the teeth looks.

no a smokers heart doesnt beat as fast as a normal heart because inhaling so much smoke lowers the heart rate.. people who smoke are damaging their lungs
