So I went to the doctor. They put me on everything. For my lungs, heart, everything. NOTHING!!!! They can't find anything. I don't have a problem with my lungs or heart. And I don't have asma either. I am fit and trim. And I play basketball every two days. What's wrong with me??????? Am i broken. Please Help!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Nobody can diagnose you via the Internet. You need to find another doctor who can help you with this.

Is it possible that you haven't been running often? There's also a possiblity that you have somewhat of like a chronic heart disease. But it's not really a disease. Like sometimes my chest started hurting randomly, on a frenquency of 2 or 3 times a year. Or sometimes what I'm really active and I have to gasp for air [like after running a mile] it hurts a little. But this is something I was born with? I'm not sure. So if you haven't noticed signs of this before you probably don't have this. The only thing I can think of is maybe the dramactic change in heart rate. You should keep consolting doctors or your coach, cause I highly doubt people who DO know the answer will be on here, instead of saving lives. =]

Young people can have heart problems so if it doesn't go away see the doctor. If it is trapped wind it is painful in the chest area. Try warm lemonade or ginger ale just to make you burp. You could have simple pulled a muscle if so it will also hurt when you breathe in and out. If it does just rest.

you may actually have whats called exercise induced asthma and the best thing to do is have your doctor do a spirametor test before you exercise and after. being a long time asthmatic these symtoms you have do look like it. and also it may also be muscle related. you might not be stretching before the game propely. try some stretches that work the pec muscles and that might help.
