Anyone can have a heart problem- age does not matter-- tell your mom about this and have her take you to the doctor as soon as possible. DO NOT DO ANY SPORTS until you see the doctor, PLEASE! You can have a congenital (which means you were born with it) anomaly in your heart which is causing these pains--- only a doctor can do the battery of tests needed to pinpoint exactly what is causing the pain.....take it easy.... and tell your mom and see your doctor..........good luck to you honey....

I too had kind of the same thing except it wasnt on my heart it was somewhere by my ribs. When i take big breath it would hurt so much but then i would feel a pop inside and it would go away. Mine happens at random, i tend to ignore it but yet im curious of whats going on. The pain hasnt come back after a few months now. Mine went away but i dont know if it would eventually come back. Either wait or just go to the doctor before anything serious really happens

First- CALL A DOCTOR!

Second- sometimes I get a sharp pain near my heart when I inhale. It lasts for a couple minutes-- fine when I exhale, but hurts when I take a deep breath. If I can stand the pain, if I breathe in all the way, it... "pops" and goes away. I think it's gas or something.

Third- CALL A DOCTOR! Because even if your symptoms match mine, that doesn't mean it's the same condition!!!

Growing pains. Don't sweat it. There are many muscles in the chest. If it gets a lot worse and last a long time, you may want to have it checked out. If you have a racing pulse, shortness of breath, it could be a heart thing. But, I don't think so.

It can be a muscle spasm if it only lasts a few seconds, but any thing near the heart is serious. Be sure you see a doctor as soon as possible.

heloo, im 13 and i hav the same problem. It's not heartburn. I do not think sports will effect it. I practice Tae Kwon Do and it doesnt happen during or after. I visited a cardiologist and he said that it will not cause me any harm, however i advise u do go to a doctor just in case.

YES you should definitely get it checked. I am 31, had recently had heart attack, and had to go through triple bypass surgery. One thing I learned: NEVER second guess when it comes to heart, get professional advice, quick.GOOD LUCK>
