I have a two part question. I would love for my wife to give me a hand job (been a while) , but I think I read somewhere that you are not suppose to have sex until one month after you have epididymitis. Can anyone verify this information. I took the Cipro about 3 weeks ago and have been feeling alot better ever since. I had a question about going to the Zoo, I remember reading about not doing anything strenuous but was wondering if walking around the zoo was strenuous.

Well this question requires a HANDS ON approach. Not knowing how severe your case is or the underlying cause. Infections treated with antibiotics vary in how long they take to cure it. I don't know how much swelling or pain you have. But if you feel well and are not in any pain. a helping hand from your wife is fine. just don't overdo it. and have her wash her hands after. If you are in pain you can stop! As for strenuous activity it won't hinder your recovery or hurt you, except sweating, and jostling of your scrotum may be uncomfortable. if you are concerned, ask your Dr. 1 month is merely given as an average some heal sooner others longer. YOU will know.

You only have one week to go before the month is over so why risk it? Walking at the zoo should be fine I wouldn't consider it strenuous activity. And to the person who said you could give or get hepatitis is an idiot.

You are right because you could give her Hepititus or you yourself developing it. If your that desperate go out and by her some surgical gloves and where a condom to catch what comes out. Then trash both imediately and wash up real good. A day at the zoo just walking won't hurt you.
