Yes, you can. Certain STD's aren't treatable with antibiotics. Herpes for instance is non-curable and cannot be prevented by already being on an antibiotic. HIV and Hepatitis are STD's that are also not treated by antibiotics and they also have no cure.

IF you contract an STD it would have to be sensitive to Docycyline to be cured by it and the incubation period would probably be longer than the course of antibiotic. This means the STD would still be there when you were done with the antibiotic, giving it a chance to grow after you were done with the medicine.

I hope this helps you.

Yes you can... for a few reasons...

#1 different antibiotics treat different things

#2 a FULL COURSE of antibiotics need to be taken in order to rid yourself of the STD you are treating...so if you are on a 2 week course of antibiotics and you have sex or oral sex on hte 5th day, then you will have missed 5 days of antibiotics.

#3 not all STDs can be treated with antibiotics.

bad idea

yes, you can. not all antibiotics treat the same infections, therefore it is very possible to end up with another std that can't be cleared up with the antibiotic you are currently on.
take care of your body and respect yourself. you were fortunate enough to be able to get rid of your std with medication this time. what will you do if you end up with HIV?
