Low blood sugar can it cause you to zone out and feel like your knees are buckling.

Sometimes I get lightheaded and visual disturbances.

Very moody and constant sweating as well as cold hands and cold feet.

I also get spasms on my left side by my rib cage; alot of times if I don't eat I get cranky and almost feel like anxiety. I had a fasting blood sugar of 104 two years ago when tested? I haven't really gained much less lost any weight! I am 30 year old female and somewhat concerned. Opinions are appreciated and not rudeness.

Thanks,

Have you noticed that your urine smells flowery/sweet? If it does you are passing sugar without digesting it. Sign of diabetes.

If you have violent mood swings when you go for a long period of time between meals? That's another possible sign of diabetes.

Lightheadedness could be from anything.

Best bet: Go to your doctor and tell him of your concerns.

when you feel like that you need to get some sugar in you right away. If your sugar levels drop too low you will loose consciousness and pass out. Drink a soft drink or some orange juice or some other liquid with sugars in it. Do it right away and relax for about 15 minutes. you should start feeling normal by then.

These are all symptoms of low blood sugar. Be sure you eat a high protein snack mid morning, mid afternoon and before bed to help keep your blood sugar more level and prevent this.

with diabetes; it's kind of tricky. you have to know when you need to eat and that you do need to eat, you need to check you sugar often. i think your moodiness, visual disturbances, sweating and cold hands and feet are all attributed to that fact that you may not be keeping your blood sugar at a consistent level, you may let yourself starve when you really need that sugar to keep your body going.

I get all those symptoms. Please get yourself tested. You either have diabetes or are borderline diabetic.
