Hey- I have no health insurance so I wanted to see if anyone could discern what this could be based on the symptoms- so I'll be as specific as possible.
I've been sick for 2 weeks and it's been fairly consistent the entire time.
My nose is stuffy and I've been blowing it pretty frequently, but not runny. It's mostly clear but every so often, usually in the mornings, yellow.
Recently, I've started to get a pretty foul taste in my mouth while blowing my nose (no, i'm not getting anything in there)
I've been coughing frequently, not a lot of phlegm but some comes up. It's not a painful cough in any way, just seems to be moving a lot of stuff in my lungs.
My throat feels completely fine, no complaints there.
I'm just getting really tired of coughing so much and feeling so uncomfortable.
Any suggestions??

sounds like a sinus infection, you need antibiotics. go to a free health clinic.

Drink as many fluids as possible. I mean drink so you piss like a race horse. I suggest hot green tea and lots of it. There may be a free clinic in your area so you can see a doc and get some antibiotics. Some major retailers are now offering free antibiotics with a doctor's prescription. Take care of yourself. You don't want it to turn into pneumonia.

if you have been sick for 2 weeks it is a bacterial infection that your body cannot kill off by its self and needs antibiotics. Sounds likd a sinus inffection to me. try taking alot of vitamin C, Vitamin E and an herb called Echenasia if you cannot see a doctor, that might help, they boost your immune system.

i'm extremely particular there are over the counter drugs that say "chilly and sinus" on the label. I frequently take Rubitussin and Claritin and it receives me all more effective powerful. look at your pharmacy and get what you imagine is maximum perfect. also, take lots of nutrition c and echinacea. Drink a good number of water and get lots of relax. in case you do get a fever then also take Tylenol or Ibuprofin.
