I put this question in the vegetarian section hoping that I would get respectful answers from people who understand. I am quite disappointed that inconsiderate people are answering my question. So goes the world I guess.

One person out of five doesn't make "inconsiderate people"(even though I'm not quite sure that his sarcasm is inconsiderate, it is funny:D). As for inconsiderate, did you ever stop to think that that is what you are being by totally disrespecting another's choice and forcing your views on to them? I hate liver, I think it is the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten(it's in a tie with mushrooms), but I don't go around telling people that eat liver and mushrooms that they are making a very disgusting/wrong choice when they eat them. I just decline their offer if they ask me if I want some, and let them enjoy their meal. Grow up.

I find it very ironic you talking about people being disrespectful, inconsiderate and having a lack of understanding. Did it never cross your mind how disrespectful and inconsiderate of your mother right to choose it would be doing what you plan to do? And as for understanding: you couldn't be less understanding if you tried; the levels of hypocrisy here really make me cringe.
You've made your choice, and I'm willing to bet she respects yours, so you should respect hers, like a decent human being.
Now, I realise respect and consideration are not my strong points by any means, but I draw the line several miles before trying to use shock tactics to force my own mother to adhere to my morals.

Well that's pretty rude don't you think? I'm sure you wouldn't like it if someone forced their beliefs on you. Grow up! I mean it doesn't seem like you live with your mom anymore so let her eat what she wants.

What a thoughtful daughter you are.
I'm sure you could create the pictures you want using Photoshop, just as the pros do!

instead, why don't you mind your own business about what your mom eats? being a vegetarian is YOUR decision, it obviously isn't hers.
