Also, would you consider it a medical "condition"??

I have mixed feelings about this. There are so many children in this world waiting to be adopted...

When it comes down to it, I think it is a medical condition, and that if a woman chooses to have it "corrected" with fertility treatments, she should be able to, without breaking the bank. She will need that money to raise a child.

Surely if erectile dysfuntion is considered a medical condition and Viagra is covered by insurance, infertility should be treated the same way.

Yes, Yes ,Yes....It should be covered and most of the time only the basic services are covered. Trust me I am a former fertility patient and I spent thousands of dollars out of my pocket to have my twins. It is not fair that sterilization, pregnancy, abortions and other conditions are covered but not a lot of the fertility services and drugs. I knew a few people that had to go to Mexico to get their drugs because they couldnt afford them in the U.S. When I got pregnant I donated the remainder of my drugs to another couple that couldnt afford them. Something needs to be done to make insurane companies pay for fertility services!!!
