You need to see a doctor. Anytime you can't breathe is serious. Go to a neighbors home and use their phone. Get ahold of your Mum and tell her what the problem is or call an ambulance. I'm sure she wouldn't want you to feel this way. Look up asthma symptoms online. When you have an asthma attack you need medical help. Please go to someone who can help you. Don't feel stupid about it or like it's not important enough, because it is important. Hope you feel better soon sweetie. Call someone!

the best thing to do sweetie is find a paper bag or sac as i think you call them and when breathing gets hard breath in to the bag slwly and controlled ,,,DO NOT PANIC as this will make it harder ,you will be ok ,if you calm down and breath im the bag till it goes ,,,have you thought this could also be a panic atack as you are on your own ,,,,eith way same thing help breath into the bag and relax ,keep calm ,,and sometimes getting fresh air as out side can help feeling dizzy is because you are hyperventolating ,caused through breathing too fast ,,,get a bag and do it now ,,,,,but keep very calm ,,,,,any more worrys come back on here or ask a neighbour to call a doctor ok ,,,,,,but do every thing slowly and it should be ok ,,,,,kat

Unless you've had asthma before (or it runs in the family) I don't think that was the cause of you breathing problems.
Your best bet is to go to a neighbour's and ask for help, at most it sounds like you hyperventilated.
I've hyperventilated a few times in my life and it was pretty scary since it came on without warning.
Try to stay calm, and good luck.

Take a warm shower. The hot water/steam will help to relax your muscles and if it is asthma then it will help to relax your lungs by breathing in the steam. Now, I have had problems breathing but it hurt differently (like someone was squeezing my lungs together). It actually turned out to be that I had gallstones. So my advise, is to take a shower for now to try to relax your muscles, and then when your mom gets back talk to her and have to take you to a doctor as soon as possible!

Go to a neighbor's house. They can call 911 if your breathing is as bad as you say.

try breathing through a brown paper bag--you could be hyper-ventilating.
