Silver Tears I'm type 1.

As far as the attractive part, I was just following Dr. Evil's lead. In his question he said he was handsome.

Oooh this chick runs 'em tight. She's good. I say 160mg/dl+/-8mg/dl. (10% error margin)
Here's my strategy-
Activity: Her pulse will be about 75-80bpm, papershuffling and reading Answers. Well, her pulse will go up a bit MORE when she reads MY Answers and looks at my avatar.
Carb conversion to blood glucose: I'm estimating her carb to mg/dl factor to be close to mine as an adult, so I will arbitrarily set this @ 0.625g/mg/dl.
Carbs: At 58g, it's a little more than half the carbs I ate yesterday.
Insulin: Humalog injection timing is identical to mine, in the powerband of 0.5 to 2.5 hours or so. She's taking about half the dose I did of 4.8 U (vs. 10 U).
So, bg rise from carbs: (58g) / (0.625g/mg/dl)=93mg/dl.
Estimated bg drop/1.5h from 4.8 U of Humalog @ 75-80bpm:
-100mg/dl
Tally 'em up: 167mg/dl +93mg/dl - 100mg/dl = 160mg/dl and tack on a 10% error margin of +/-8 mg/dl.

p.s. Silver Tears: It is a known fact that attractive people get and give more informative Answers. Take me for instance. ;)

p.s. Gala5_17,
Hope you feel better after blowing your nose. It's just a little bit of basic math (+,-,*,/) and keeping track of units, nothing real fancy.
